London to Scotland Removals: Your Questions

The things we are asked most, answered plainly.

Common questions

How much does a move from London to Scotland cost?

Every move is quoted individually from the details of your move. The cost depends on the size of your home, access at both ends, how much packing you want, any high-value items and the time of year. Send us the details and we give you a clear quote with no obligation, no visit needed.

Will my belongings share a van with other people's?

No. Your move is exclusive. Your home is the only load on the van, so nothing is delayed by another family's delivery and your dates are your own.

Are you insured?

Yes. We carry goods-in-transit and £1 million public liability cover with PolicyBee. Fragile and high-value items are wrapped and crated so they are protected the whole way.

Do you pack for us?

We can pack your whole home, just the fragile rooms, or nothing at all if you prefer to pack yourself. Full packing is the usual choice for a move this far.

Can you move fine art, antiques and a piano?

Yes. We wrap and crate high-value and fragile pieces, and we have the equipment and experience to move pianos and large items safely over a long distance.

How far in advance should I book?

The earlier the better, especially in the autumn peak. We will always try to help at shorter notice, but booking ahead secures your preferred dates.

Can you quote without visiting?

Yes. We quote from the details of your move, so we do not need to visit first. Send us your addresses, property size, access and dates, with a few photos or a short video of the bigger rooms, and we come back with a clear quote.

Which parts of Scotland do you cover?

All of it. We move households from London to every part of Scotland, with a particular focus on its most sought-after towns, cities and villages.
